This morning Station 6 was dispatched to the 800 block of Harston Ln. for a vehicle into the creek.
Upon arrival crews found a pick-up truck with a trailer attached down the embankment into the creek. All occupants were accounted for with no one in the vehicle.
Oil booms were deployed down stream as a precaution.
Members assisted the tow company in removal of the vehicle, verifying there was no contamination of the creek.

The finishing touch on the new Ladder 6: gold leaf painstakingly applied by hand by a master craftsman.
Ladder 6 responded with a crew of 6 to assist Norristown Fire Department at a multi alarm apartment fire this afternoon.
At 6 AM this morning, Flourtown Fire Police were called to assist in shutting down traffic from entering I-76 eastbound at the I-476 southbound offramp due to extensive flooding. The crew stayed on location until I-76 east reopened at 9:45 AM. It is somewhat unusual for us to be called this far out of our area, however the overnight storms resulted in many extended duration calls for fire police units across the county.
