Tuesday, April 6 @ 22:13hrs Station 7 (Wissahickon) and Ladder 18 (FDMT) were dispatched to the area of McKean Rd. and Rt.309  for the commercial building fire. October 5, 2009 Flourtown Fire company held its annual fire prevention open house. There was food, tours of the fire trucks, a fire prevention puppet show, oven/stove fire demonstrations and Barren Hill Fire Company’s smoke house. July, 2009, Flourtown Fire Company took delivery of it’s new Squad 6. Manufactured by Pierce Fire Apparatus the Squad was picked up from Glick in Lancaster, PA and driven to 1526 Bethlehem Pike.
